This video will cover some of the main concepts that my students seem to have trouble with when it comes to understanding how to generate a walk cycle for any character. We will look at many of my techniques for achieving this brand of animation most useful for game characters, but which can also be used to generate animation files which can be added and blended with animations at a later date. If you follow me through this tutorial you will understand how to use any software package to assist you in creating a character that has a solid walk cycle.
