3D Software Plugins and Scripts

Although all 3D software packages have many in-built features and functionality, there are extensions, in the form of plugins and scripts, for improved production flow and/or additional features.

Maya and 3ds max have the greatest number of plugins and scripts as these are the industry leader packages.

There are plugins and scripts for many different areas such as modeling, animation and rendering. Some of them also interact with external applications (for instance renderers, game engines or other software packages).
